Hove & Kingsway Bowling Club
We are a friendly club, with a thriving membership enjoying our excellent facilities. Bowls is a game that can be enjoyed by all ages and all levels of experience.
News from the green (even further update)
The men's team won their division of the Brighton Hove & District League, with a record of Played 10, won 8, lost 2.
The team has advanced to the last-16 of the National Top Club. They play Sports Centre of Southampton and the match takes place during the National Finals, at 0915 on Friday 30th August in Leamington Spa.
Our fours team lost against a team from Cornwall, unfortunately.
In the Abergavenny Cup (Sussex County double-fours), the team came runners-up to White Rock in the Final at Eastbourne on Saturday 24th August.
In the Bill Hawkins trophy (Brighton Hove & District double-fours) the team play The Drive, on Tuesday 27th August.
Competitions & Leagues
As well as lots of social bowls we have some great club competitions for members.
Members can play in regular friendly matches with other clubs and we have places available in both the men’s and mixed league teams and county competitions if you want to play more competitively.
Bar & Cafe
The clubhouse is a fantastic venue. If you fancy a cup of tea or a glass of something stronger you will find welcoming service.
